Overview of Article Return Policy
Article offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. This means you can return or exchange any item within 30 days of delivery if it’s not quite right. Here’s what you need to know:
- Timeframe: You have 30 days from the delivery date to decide if you want to keep your furniture.
- Condition: The item must be in as-new condition, meaning it should be free from any damage or wear.
- Packaging: You need the original packaging for returns and exchanges.
Free Exchanges
If you want to exchange an item, Article makes it easy and free for the first exchange. Here are the steps:
- Initiate Exchange: Contact Article within 30 days of delivery to start the exchange process.
- Free Shipping: The first exchange shipping is free. If you exchange the item again, you will be responsible for the shipping fees for both forward and return shipments.
- Original Packaging: Use the original packaging. If you don’t have it, there’s a $50 repackaging fee per item.
Important Notes:
- If your new item is cheaper, you get a refund for the difference.
- If your new item is more expensive, you pay the difference.

Returns
Don’t love your new furniture? You can return it within 30 days. Here’s how it works:
- Initiate Return: Contact Article within 30 days of delivery.
- Condition: The item must be in as-new condition.
- Packaging: Use the original packaging. If not, there’s a $50 repackaging fee per item.
Return Fees:
- Standard Service Area: $49 return shipping fee for most items. Smaller items have a $19 return shipping fee.
- Outside Standard Service Area: The return fee is the same as the forward shipping fee you paid when the item was delivered..
Once Article receives your item and checks it, they’ll refund you minus any repackaging and shipping fees.

Warranty
Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Article’s warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the delivery date. Here’s what to do:
- Report Defects: Contact Article with photos or videos showing the issue.
- Assessment: Article will check the issue and may offer replacement parts, repairs, or complete replacements.
Note:
- Non-Transferable: Warranties are non-transferable.
- Normal Use: Warranties are valid only for normal use and intended purpose.
- Exclusions: Damage from negligence, misuse, accidents, modifications, or commercial use is not covered.
Damage After Delivery
If your item arrives damaged, contact Article immediately with detailed photos or videos. They will help resolve the issue. Damage that happens at home after delivery is not covered by the warranty, but Article can give advice on cleaning, care, and repairs.
