Online Akira Return Policy

If you bought something online from AKIRA and want to return it, here’s what you need to know:

  • Return Period: You have 30 days from the order date to return the item.
  • Condition of Items: Items must be in original condition – unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, with tags still attached. Shoes must be in their original box, and the return label should not be attached to the shoe box directly.

  • Return Shipping Fee: If you use AKIRA’s prepaid return label, a $10 fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus the original shipping and handling fees. If you paid with a gift card, the refund will be in the form of store credit.

Steps to Return Online Purchases:

  1. Generate a Return Label: Use a desktop or laptop to generate and print your prepaid return label.
  2. Package Your Items: Ensure items are in their original condition and use appropriate packaging.
  3. Mail the Package: Drop off your package with the carrier.

Important Update

Starting Monday, November 4th, Akira will transition its return carrier to FedEx. Orders placed before this date will continue to be returned via UPS. For detailed return instructions, refer to the email you received or contact customer support for assistance.

Important Notes:

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” cannot be returned or refunded.
  • If an exception is made, final sale returns may incur a 20% restocking fee and will be refunded as store credit.

  • Return Period: You have 14 days from the purchase date to return items for an exchange or store credit.
