Good news! Altar’d State doesn’t put a clock on fashion returns or exchanges. That includes sale items. So if that dress doesn’t fit or that sweater’s not your vibe anymore, you can return it anytime—as long as it’s in decent condition.

In-Store Returns
- Bring the Item: Take the item you want to return or exchange to any Altar’d State store.
- Order Confirmation: Bring your order confirmation email.
- Credit Card: If you want a refund to your credit card, bring the card you used to buy the item. If you don’t have it, you’ll get store credit instead.
⚠️ Important: Bedding, pillows, and throws cannot be returned in-store, even if bought online.

- Fill in the Order details as shown in the below screenshot

- Once the Return Label is generated, pack the item and take it to the shipping location.

Note: There’s an $8.95 return shipping fee if you use Altar’d State’s return label. This amount is deducted from your refund.
Exchanges by Mail
Exchanges are easy:
- Start a return as usual.
- In the comment box for each item, write what you’d like instead.
- If your desired item is in stock, it’ll be sent to you at no extra charge.
