Here’s everything you need to know about Gabe’s return policy, explained in simple and clear language.
Returning Items with a Receipt
Timeframe for Returns:
- You can return items within 30 days of purchase.
- Returns after 30 days are allowed but will be refunded as store credit.
Form of Refund:
- Cash or Debit Card: If you paid with cash, a check, or a debit card using a pin, you will get a cash refund.
- Credit Card: If you paid with a credit card, the refund will be credited back to the same card.
- Coupon Purchases: If you used a coupon, you will get a refund for the amount you paid after the coupon was applied. The value of the coupon itself will not be refunded.
Returning Items without a Receipt
- No Receipt: Generally, Gabe’s does not accept returns without a receipt.
- Proof of Purchase: If you don’t have a receipt, we can try to validate your purchase using:
- Your physical or electronic receipt.
- Your Gabe’s Unbelievable Rewards! Account.
- They might need to see a valid ID (state driver’s license, state ID card, or military ID).
Condition of Merchandise
- Items must be in new condition.
- Tags must be attached.
- Items must be in their original packaging.
- Special Items: Swimwear and intimate items must have their original liners.
- Not Acceptable: Worn or used items cannot be returned.
Items Not Eligible for Return under Gabe’s Return Policy
- Gift cards.
- Food items, including CBD products.
- Magazine subscriptions.
- Items sold “as-is.”
- Some seasonal items (ask a store associate for details).
EBT Cash Card Purchases
- Items bought with an EBT Cash card cannot be returned for cash.
- Refunds will be given as in-store credit for the purchase price listed on the receipt.
- No returns are accepted without an original receipt or valid proof of purchase.
Manager Approval and Return Verification
- All returns need manager approval.
- Returns are tracked using a return verification system.
- This system uses customer data and transaction information to authorize returns.
- Returns can be limited or declined based on this system.
Layaway Purchases
- The 30-day return period for items bought through layaway starts when you make the final payment or pick up the merchandise.
